When this condo became available in 2015 it was completely unfinished so we were able to start with bare walls and dreams of what the finished product might look like.  In addition to building it out for our own use, we knew we wanted to share our home with others, so the guest was always in our minds as we selected colors, finishes, furniture and everything else you see when you enter MiraMar 302.  Having contacts over the years with skilled craftsmen, we were able to hire some of the islands best contractors to install quality into every space.  You will see it immediately upon entering the condo, with its five arched alcoves dramatically painted like windows by respected Yucatan artist Carol Acereto.  A stylish cement platform sofa, with leather recliners, decorate the living room.  The new furnishings are custom made after the designs of a modernist Mexican architect.  A dramatic media center is equipped with international TV, a library of movies, internet, local and international calling and a blue tooth sound system.  It is elegant yet comfortable.  A handsome dining area is equipped with a round table comfortable for 6.  All of this is in stark contrast to the hodge podge of worn furniture in many condo rentals.

You will enjoy the modern white maple kitchen with granite countertops and a spacious serving buffet bar.  There is an electric cooktop and oven, quality appliances and drawers filled with dishes, glassware, silverware and a multitude of other items to kick start your day or finish the evening with drinks and deserts.

When you enter the master bedroom you immediately feel how spacious the room is and then your eyes are quickly drawn to the incredible Caribbean ocean views.  With all this space we've placed leather chairs in front of the massive sliding doors with additional reclining chairs on your own private balcony.  Emphasis was placed on comfort when selecting king sized beds for every room.  A custom made dresser and large closet with wardrobe, shelving and a safe to store your valuables are additional accents to this luxurious room.  A separate vanity area features double sinks and mirrors across from your all tile private bath with stunning walk in shower including a shower seat.  Bedroom two is equally spacious, featuring a king bed, custom dresser and an equally large closet and wardrobe.  Not to be denied the beauty that is available, there is a private balcony with a view of private gardens and jungle.  This second bedroom also has a separate vanity with a tiled private bath and walk in shower.  A typical condo design provides a small third bedroom cramped in a corner.  Not here.  Even the third bedroom is spacious with a king bed, a stunning handmade wardrobe with drawers and enough space to hang your clothes.  If you are offered this third bedroom there is a large window with a view of the ocean and a comfortable leather chair for reading.  You also will have your own vanity area and the largest bath and shower room in the condo.  No one in this condo is cheated on comfort, privacy or Caribbean views.  These are wonderful spaces to stretch out and rest after a day of activities. 

To help in keeping things clean and comfortable, and to assist you in packing light, the condo is equipped with a quality washer and dryer with detergent provided.

There are reasons why this condo receives the highest quest ratings time and time again.  First is the unique location.  If you are considering a condo rental, first ask "is it right on the ocean"?  Many condos that advertise "on the ocean" are actually buried in high density complexes near the ocean or located in a high rise condo that feels more like apartments than private condos.  This condo is located on the most pristine north shore of Cozumel - the Costera Norte. 

If you've been to Cancun or other beaches in the Caribbean and seen piles of sea weed piled up on the beaches, we do not have that problem because the ocean currents and trade winds travel away from our shore.  Our shoreline lives and breathes with colorful coral and multitudes of fish and other underwater habitat.  It is a snorkeling paradise.  Many people comment, and we agree, that the snorkeling right in front of the condo and for miles in either direction that you can explore is as good as any excursion you would pay hundreds of dollars for.  Don't pay hundreds for a crowded snorkeling tour when you can enter the ocean with our easy ladder access and snorkel in private along our pristine shoreline whenever you like.  If you prefer pool to ocean, our 60 foot infinity pool hangs on the ocean with views that will take your breath away!  There is even a diving platform and if you visit us frequently you will find that no trip is complete without taking a plunge from that platform. 

And of course Cozumel is famous for it's incredible sunsets, so prepare your evening drink and enjoy all the colors of a Cozumel sunset from the pool deck or your private balcony.  There is a new lighted walking trail that runs by the front of the condo for 1.5 miles south to downtown and 1.5 miles north to the golf course.  We love taking a morning walk to town for some exercise and coffee and a late night stroll north to finish the day.  Cozumel is incredibly safe any time of day or night, and we never hesitate to explore the island whether light or dark.

We have prepared for our guests an extensive "foody" guide to eating on Cozumel's amazing restaurants.  As far as activities, consider some of these: Fishing, scuba/snorkel tours, dolphin encounter, stingray or whale shark encounter, surfing, kite boarding, beach escape, Harley Davidson tour, parasailing, glass bottom boat, kyak tours, jeep tours, horseback riding, Atlantis submarine, ATV's/XRAIL, Passion Island, Sea Trek, Lobster dinner cruise, Mainland tours, Talum, the Myan Planetarium, Cozumel "Tucan" sail, deep sea fishing, bone fishing.....  The options and adventures are many!!  You can do as much or as little as you like. 

For many, a week at our amazing pool and/or snorkeling along the sea wall makes for a lifetime of memories.  Don't forget the other side of the island is a quick car ride and provides miles of uninhabited open beach with ocean waves for body surfing and splashing in.
